Man of Steel Limted Edition Giftsets Unboxing and Review

This time we'll be taking a look at two Limited Edition Blu Ray Giftsets for Man of Steel.

First up, is the Limited Edition Collectible Figurine Gift Set.

It features 2 well detailed 6 inch statues of Zod and the Man Of Steel himself. They are well painted, and each is attached to a display stand in the form of each of their shields.

The movie is presented in the standard 3 disc Blu-ray set. 1 Blu Ray movie disc, 1 DVD movie disc, and 1 Blu-Ray Special Features disc.

Overall the gift set is nice, but the figures don't add much really, unless you are into small statues.

Next up, is the Numbered Limited Edition 3D Blue Ray Gift Set.

My particular gift set is #33059 out of 50000.

The set comes in a metal box shaped like Superman's shield. Inside you find a cardboard case that opens up to reveal the 4 discs. 3D Blue Ray, Regular Blu Ray, DVD and Special Features Blu Ray.

Underneath the discs is a plexi-glass stand you need to put together. It comes in 2 pieces. The Base shaped like Superman's shield, and the support arm. The support arm pegs into a rectangular slot on the base, though on mine its a little tight and has caused a stress mark on the base. The support arm has three magnets that hold onto the metal shield case and let it sit upright.

Both versions include an Ultra Violet Digital copy code

The resulting display is very nice and showcases the metal box very well. It does take up a bit of room on the shelf, but it still a very cool display piece.

All in all, the Metal Case stands out much more than the figurines, and as such this is the one I would recommend hunting down.
